Biography

UK born Jason Anthony Canning began acting at an early age, performing in London theatre productions. Jason's quick wit and charismatic personality made him a natural for television and he made his professional debut in 1999 as Mr. Paramount, the face of the Paramount Comedy Channel. That same year he was handpicked to launch a new UK channel ITV2, which is now the most watched cable channel in the UK. A self confessed motor head made him a natural choice to host Granada Television's series, "The Drive of Your Life". Jason's career climbed to the next level when he was cast by Disney to host "Circle Time". His own story-telling show, on the award winning Playhouse Disney Channel. A regular face on British television, he found himself in high demand booking celebrity guest appearances on shows like the BBC's long running "Ready, Steady, Cook" and hosting a series of concerts at London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall. Since moving to Los Angeles Jason has honed his craft as a stand up comedian and has headlined comedy clubs across America. He has worked in shows with most of the major studios and TV Networks including Warner Brothers, Paramount, Lucasfilm, HBO, Universal, E! Entertainment and BBC Worldwide. Along the way he also garnered a Silver Telly Award for his work on "FootBallers Wives" for BBC America. Becoming a US citizen in 2015 Jason continues his creative journey living and working in Los Angeles
